NACC OVERVIEW

Behind the Name

Who We Are

NACC cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. NACC is a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom.

NACC was started in 2021 by it’s founder and current Pastor, Rev. Dr. Kenton D. and his wife Shafawn R. Wiley. As our Spiritual Leaders, they have painted the vision of a church that is truly welcoming to everyone; a place where everyone has a seat at the table regardless of personal history, family background, ethnicity, or gender. NACC will launch its first virtual service in the summer of 2021.

What Is The Vision

...as I arrived home in North Carolina, to mourn the loss of my late father, Rev. Dr. Keith B. Wiley, I drove his van to the car wash for a fresh cleaning, and an opportunity to clear my head. As tears began to stream down my face - tears of pain, hurt, confusion - the Lord appeared to me in the form of a servant, cleaning the parking lot. He dried my eyes, and said, “Do not be concerned about your father, for he is with me, and you will see him again.” He then spoke purpose into my life saying,

“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. -Matthew 28:18-20 (NKJV)

But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” -I Corinthians 2:9 (NKJV)

”Go my son!”

— Dr. Wiley

Dr. Wiley’s vision of making disciples of all nations is centered around three critical core values:

(1) Love - unconditional love is the single greatest element of our faith.

(2) Teaching - effective biblical teaching lays a strong faith foundation, while developing principals for Christian living.

(3) Family - building strong godly families is essential for effective ministry and community development.

What's the bottom line? More than ever, NACC is committed to fostering a family built around the love of Jesus and a brighter future for this generation and generations to come. We press towards better. We work towards progress. We seek Jesus in all we do. And as we move forward as a church family, inclusion and belonging remain at the center of who we are as followers of Christ.

What Are Our Beliefs

About the Scriptures: We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Spirit of God to write the very words of Scripture. Therefore, we believe the Bible is without error.

About God: We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity (the Son of God) who became flesh to reveal God to humanity and to become the Savior of the lost world.

About Humanity: We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with him but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts.

About Salvation: We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin.

About the Christian Life: We believe all Christians should live for Christ and not for themselves. By obedience to the Word of God and daily yielding to the Spirit of God, every believer should mature and be conformed to the image of Christ.

About the Church: We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving him and by making him known to the lost world.

What Is The Origin Of Our Name, Logo and Colors

About our name: Never Alone Christian Center comes out of the vision of the ministry. Jesus has promised us He would be with us until the end of time (Matthew 28:20). He also said, He would never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). No matter where we find ourselves in life, we are Never Alone.

About the letters: The letters represent our church name, Never Alone Christian Center. They are rugged in nature to symbolize the ruggedness of the cross Jesus died on for our sins.

About the footprints: Two sets of footprints are captured in our logo to remind us we are never alone. Scripture says, ”The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way.” (Psalms 37:2) Therefore wherever we go shall be led by Him.

About our colors: Purple = Priesthood, kingship, royalty, mediator, wealth

Silver/Gray= Word of God, purity, divinity, salvation, truth, atonement, redemption
